FV2200 Software
The latest version is 2.1.1. Changes from 2.1:
- Fixed update volume and area update in isolated canopy model
- Fixed a bug when removing GPS records
- Fixed an issue in scattering correction for higher LAI canopies
- Fixed a potential problem reading K records
- Fixed a crashing issue on Windows when using 00d00"00' format for lat, long.
Download FV2200 for Mac OS X (64 bit) 10.7 and above. (Mavericks, Mountain Lion, Lion).
(The 32 bit Mac version is no longer available, unless someone requests it.)

LAI-2200 Firmware
The latest wand software is 1.19. Download wnd-1_19.bin
The latest console software is 2.0. Download lai-2_0.img
How to tell what version of firmware is in the Console:
On the LAI-2200 console, press
Menu > Firmware > Console > Info
How to tell what version of firmware is in the Wand:
With the wand(s) attached to the LAI-2200 console(either port), press
Menu > Firmware > Wand > Info
How to update firmware:
1. Download the new firmware file(s) to your computer. (Wand files end in .bin, and console files end in .img.)
2. Attach the LAI-2200 console to your computer via USB. The LAI disk (or whatever you've renamed it to) should appear on the desktop.
3. Drag the downloaded firmware file(s) to the LAI disk (root directory).
4. Eject the LAI disk.
5a. To update the console, do the following
Menu > Firmware > Console > Upgrade
and pick the file you just added.
5b. To update a wand, attach it to the X port of the console, and do
Menu > Firmware > Wand > Upgrade
and pick the file you just added.
Once you have updated the console or wand, the *.bin or *.img files are no longer needed on the console's compact flash drive. You can ignore them, or remove them as you wish.
